This is to inform the general public and prospective applicants for HND and ND programs of The Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Moore Plantation, Ibadan that the college admissions forms are on sale.

Background 

The Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Moore Plantation, Ibadan offers full and part-time courses leading to National Diploma and Higher National Diploma qualifications. Through the kind of training we give our students, our graduates are expected to be skillful and competent enough to establish their own farms and businesses with little or no assistance.

FCAHPT National Diploma (ND) Part-time Admission Requirements

Candidates should note that entry requirements for both Full Time and Part-Time courses are the same:

1. Animal Health and Production Technology (Part-Time Only)

Candidates must hold WASC or GCE O level or SSCE or NECO with a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics. Candidates must, in addition, obtain at least PASS grades in English Language, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

2. Fisheries Technology (Part-Time Only)

Candidates must hold WASC or GCE O level or SSCE or NECO with a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. Candidates must, in addition, obtain at least PASS grades in English Language, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

3. Science Laboratory Technology (Part-Time Only)

Candidates must hold WASC or GCE O level or SSCE or NECO with a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings in each of the subjects listed below: (a) Mathematics, (b) English Language (c) Biology (d) Chemistry (e) Physics

4. Statistics - (Part-Time Only)

Candidates must hold WASC or GCE O' level or SSCE or NECO with a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any other two from the following: Economics, Geography, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and Government/History. Candidates must, in addition, obtain at least PASS in the English Language.

5. Computer Science (Part-Time Only)

Candidates must hold WASC or GCE O' level or SSCE or NECO with a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any other two from the following: Economics, Geography, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and Government/History. Candidates must, in addition, obtain at least a PASS in the English Language.

FCAHPT Higher National Diploma (HND) Full-Time and Part-time Admission Requirements

1. Animal Health Technology

1. Candidates must hold WASC or GCE O level or SSCE or NECO with a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. Candidates must, in addition, obtain at least PASS grades in English Language, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
2. A minimum of Lower Credit Pass (CGPA 2.50) in the National Diploma in Animal Health and Production Technology obtained from accredited programmes of recognized Institutions.
3. A minimum of one-year post-National Diploma cognate work experience.

2. Animal Production Technology

1. Candidates must hold WASC or GCE O level or SSCE or NECO with a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. Candidates must, in addition, obtain at least PASS grades in English Language, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
2. A minimum of Lower Credit Pass (CGPA 2.50) in the cognate National Diploma in Animal Health and Production Technology or Agricultural Technology obtained from accredited Programmes of recognized Institutions.
3. A minimum of one-year post-National Diploma cognate work experience.
4. NCE in Agricultural Science (Double Major) with at least NCE Merit

3. Agricultural Extension and Management

1. Candidates must hold WASC or GCE O level or SSCE or NECO with a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. Candidates must, in addition, obtain at least PASS grades in English Language, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
2. A minimum of Lower Credit Pass (CGPA 2.50) in the cognate National Diploma in Animal Health and Production Technology or Agricultural Technology obtained from accredited Programmes of recognized Institutions.
3. A minimum of one-year post-National Diploma cognate work experience.
4. NCE in Agricultural Science (Double Major) with at least NCE Merit

FCAHPT Admission Method of Application and Payment

1.  Visit the admission portal at https://portal.fcahptvom.edu.ng/
2. Choose your intended programme (ND or HND)
3. Create your profile account.
4. An email message will be sent to your email containing your applicant's ID and password to the admission portal
5. Log in and fill out the application form
6. The application form is N7,000

NOTE

1. The Application Form is made of 9 compulsory Parts. You are Compulsorily expected to Fill in your data sequentially according to the Order of the icons above starting from Personal Data. The system will not allow you to skip any of the steps
2. You are permitted to Fill in your data in stages, log out and continue on a later date in case you don't have all your documents ready The portal automatically picks up from where you stopped on your next login. 
3. But ensure that you make your final submission before the Portal is closed.
4. Incomplete registration may lead to the rejection of your application, so it is advisable you initiate and complete your registration once and for all and avoid procrastination
