The Nigeria Customs Service will be continuing its recruitment process. The E-Portal availability dates for each cadre and educational requirements are stated below:

  1. Customs Superintendent Cadre ASC II (CONSOL 08), E-Portal Availability Date - 13 December 2021, Applicant must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND).
  2. Customs Inspector Cadre AIC (CONSOL 06), E-Portal Availability Date - 15 December 2021, Applicant must possess an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Nigeria Certificate In Education (NCE). 
  3. Customs Assistant Cadre CA II, III (CONSOL 03, 04), E-Portal Availability Date - 17 December 2021, Applicant must possess Junior Secondary Certificate (JSC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC).

NOTE: The above vacancies are for the category Customs Superintendent Cadre ASC II (CONSOL 08). Other categories and their available vacancies will be made open at the date indicated above.

Nigerian Customs Recruitment General Requirements for Customs Superintendent Cadre ASC II (CONSOL 08)

In addition to the specific requirement candidate must:
  1. Nigerian Citizen by birth or descent
  2. Not less than 1.7metres in height for males and 1.64metres for females
  3. Have a fully expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.89metres
  4. Be certified by a Government Medical Officer to be physically and mentally fit for appointment in the Service
  5. Not be suffering from any physical or mental disability
  6. Be free from any form of financial embarrassment
  7. Be of good character and must not be found guilty of any criminal offence
  8. Be computer literate
  9. Must not be above 30years old
  10. Have a certificate of state of origin signed by Chairman/Secretary of their Local Governments. Certificates endorsed by Liaison Officers will not be accepted.

Candidates will be assessed and recruited (if successful) strictly based on Certificate(s)  presented during the process. Any false declaration will lead to automatic disqualification and prosecution. Furthermore, no case of upgrading will be entertained before or after the recruitment.
