UMYU Post UTME/DE (2019/2020) Form Out: Cut Off Mark, Price and Closing Date

2019/2020 UMARU MUSA YAR’ADUA UNIVERSITY POST UTME ADMISSION EXERCISE 

This is to inform the general public, parents, sponsors and eligible prospective candidates that Umaru Musa Yar’adua University undergraduate admission exercise has commenced. All eligible candidates should take note of the requirements, cut off mark, price and procedure of application as below.

UMYU Post UTME Admission Requirements

  1. Candidates must have written UTME with 4 appropriate subjects for their proposed course at the University.
  2. Candidate must have chosen the University as his or her first-choice institution
  3. Candidates must have scored not less than 170 in the UTME.
  4. Candidates must have at least 5 credit passes in their SSCE result (not more than two sittings) in subjects relevant to their proposed courses.
  5. Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N2,000.00 only for the screening and aptitude test through the payment options provided on the University’s Application Portal.
    Candidates are to come along with the payment slip for the screening and aptitude test.
    Similarly, candidates with blindness and hearing impairment are exempted.

UMYU Post DE Admission Requirements

The Umaru Musa Yar’adua University wish to invite candidates who applied for admission through Direct Entry (DE) to register for screening via the University Website – www.umyu.edu.ng effective from 18th July, 2019.

Candidates are expected to upload the following documents for screening:
  • JAMB Slip;
  • O’Level Result;
  • OND/HND and NCE as the case may be;
  • Indigene Letter;
  • Phone Number

To be eligible for DE admission, a candidate must obtain:
  1. A minimum of 9 points in NCE, IJMB, HSC and GCE A’ Level;
  2. A minimum of Lower Credit pass in Diploma in relevant subject from recognized institution; and
  3. A minimum of credit passes in five (5) O’ level subject including English Language and Mathematics.

Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of two thousand naira (N2, 000.00) only for the screening


UMYU Post UTME/DE Method Of Application and Payment

  1. Visit Musa Yar’adua Admission portal to start the registration.
  2. Click on 'Register a New Account' at the right to fill the registration form.
  3. NOTE: Registration is to be done once. If you have registered before just login to continue filling your form.
  4. On successful payment, log on to your profile and edit your application profile (This will require your recent passport photograph and your bio-data).
  5. Print your exam card.
  6. Please always check to confirm if you are shortlisted.

UMYU Post UTME/DE Screening Dates

  1. Screening and aptitude test is scheduled to take place on Saturday 3rd August 2019.
  2. Eligible candidates should upload the following documents on the University’s website on or before 2ND AUGUST, 2019.
    (i) JAMB Slip;
    (ii) O’Level Result;
    (iii) Forms of identification (Indigene Letter, National ID card/International passport etc).
